The essential set for proper care of your candles: a wick trimmer and snuffer.

Candle Care

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to around 6mm

The most important step: When you first light your candle, let it burn for long enough so that the entire surface area melts evenly. This is usually 3-4 hours for a 30cl candle

Do not relight the candle for at least 2 hours after the flame has been extinguished

Keep the candle away from drafts as it can cause candles to burn unevenly

Remove any debris or burnt wick from the the wax pool with a wick trimmer or tweezers

Don’t blow out a candle, use a snuffer, lid or topper to extinguish the flame

Always use a sturdy, heat-resistant candle holder that is the appropriate size for the candle

It’s important to stop burning a candle when there is about 10mm of wax remaining at the bottom of the vessel

If you are burning multiple candles, be sure to space them at least 10 cm apart from each other

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
