Yz/02-04 Chasing the Cherry Blossom – Yuzu and Blossom Bath Soaks

This Limited Lab Edition has been designed in collaboration with Art for Cure, who raise funds for leading-edge national breast cancer research and support services. It was specifically deigned for their Bloom exhibition.

’Bloom’, a stunning exhibition of botanically themed original paintings, sculpture, prints and ceramics from over 40 leading national artists, opens 5 – 21st March 2021 and is the start of many stylish, virtual, exhibitions for this year.

Hanami is the ancient Japanese tradition of luxuriating in the blossoming of orange, cherry and sometimes plum trees. It carries huge spiritual significance in Japanese culture as the short-lived life span of the flower is a symbol of the transience of human existence to be compared alongside the utter beauty and majesty of the world.

Blossoming starts in early March with the bitter orange tree (Neroli), followed by ornamental orange and then cherry trees. So we present three moisturising bath soaks in the exact order of the blossoming of these three types of trees:

This Limited Lab Edition Box contains three 250ml moisturising bath soaks made with essential oils and a hand-crafted genuine Japanese measuring spoon.

Yz/02 Yuzu & Neroli:  where the scent includes neroli oil which comes from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. Uplifting, inspiring and life-affirming.
Yz/03 Yuzu & Orange Blossom:  where jasmine and mandarin essential oil blend to create an  exotic, eastern and decadent orange blossom aroma.
Yz/04 Yuzu & Cherry Blossom: where yuzu oil is blended with Ylang Ylang and floral scents to produce an intoxicating cherry blossom aroma.  Calming and intriguing.

Directions: Shake bottle well and fill the Japanese wooden spoon to the brim (exactly 10ml). Pour only one spoonful into a hot bath and allow your body to soak for as long as possible.

Warning: the scent ingredient is 10% of the bottle’s content so please be careful not to put more than this exact spoonful in one bath. For allergen advice, please see bottle labelling.

Each bottle contains 25 luxuriating bath soaks so the set provides 75 in total.

Base ingredients: aqua, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium chloride, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine, polyquaternium-7, phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, C12-18 fatty acid, tetra-sodium glutamate diacetate with 10% scent.

Scent allergens:
Yz/02 Yuzu & Neroli: linalyl acetate, linalool, limonene, geranyl acetate and phenyl ethly alcohol.
Yz/03 Yuzu & Orange Blossom: limonene, linalool, citronellol, citral and geraniol.
Yz/04 Yuzu & Cherry Blossom: linalyl acetate, linalool, limonene, isoeugenol, linalool.
